In Italy Covid-19 emergency is under control and businesses have reopened safely
Attention remains high, as it should be, but currently in Italy Covid-19 emergency seems to be under control: since the beginning of July daily cases have been between 180 and 300. All new cases are promptly identified and isolated together with all their close contacts of the last 14 days: this epidemiological investigation has allowed to limit contagion and suppress the resurgence of local outbreaks.
All businesses have reopened safely with the exception of indoor show venues and indoor discos. Specific safety protocols have been put in place for public settings, especially for bars and restaurants, including use of personal protective equipment, Plexiglas barriers and social distancing measures for clients.
Masks are mandatory across all public transport and only in indoor spaces or when social distancing is not possible. Museums, monuments and holiday destinations, such as beach and mountain are open to tourists. Companies have resumed regular activity for over three months, applying new rules for prevention.
