PCTO: it's easy with FORTES!

FORTES has two recently renovated residential facilities reserved for students carrying out PCTO internship programmes (Paths for Transversal Competences and Orientation) in the productive heart of north eastearn Italy.

Guaranteeing students a quality accommodation, in a safe and controlled environment, with reduced costs: with this objective FORTES Impresa Sociale is proud to announce that an additional service can be offered to all schools that intend to develop PCTO internship programmes in Vicenza, a city that offers production and economic activities of great quality and variety.

FORTES Impresa Sociale has exclusive use of two fully equipped operational and residential facilities, in the centre of Vicenza, reserved for students and teachers who need accommodation for short periods (from one to four weeks, with the possibility of extension for extraordinary reasons). In both facilities cleaning and laundry are guaranteed services and there is a periodic check of the rooms. The facilities are equipped with a fully equipped kitchen with the possibility for guests to prepare their own meals, or alternatively you can request half board with catering service at home.

More specifically, the first residential facility is an independent two-storey house with a garden, equipped with two kitchens, a large living area, 6 double or triple bedrooms for a total of 16 beds and 4 bathrooms.

The second building "Bacheria” is located in the historic centre, in an area well served by public transport. The building is equipped with a multipurpose room and includes 8 double or triple bedrooms, each with a dedicated bathroom, for a total of 20 beds.

With these facilities," explains Andrea Cecchin, co-founder of FORTES Impresa Sociale, "we can organise internship programmes in trusted companies in the province of Vicenza, offering Italian schools not only the usual comprehensive assistance, but also a quality, safe and low-cost solution for participants' accommodation".

The students will have the opportunity to gain work experience in Italy's third most internationalised province with leading international companies and several highly competitive production districts, from mechatronics to textiles-clothing, from tanning to jewellery, from wine-growing to wood and furniture. In addition,Vicenza boasts a wide network of companies and other public and private entities active in the social and socio-health, tourism, agriculture, hospitality and catering, environmental protection, renewable energy and circular economy sectors.

Furthermore, the city of Vicenza - a Unesco World Heritage Site - is geographically in a privileged position: it is possible to reach Venice, Verona and Padua and tourist destinations such as Jesolo seaside, Lake Garda and the Asiago Plateau in less than an hour by public transport.
