European mobility in Vicenza

With spring coming, the Erasmus mobility has restarted: so far FORTES has been hosting about a hundred participants, both students and teachers.

The students from Spain, France and Estonia will stay in Vicenza from 1 to 3 months to carry out internships in different local realities, while the Swedish students participated in a 1-week programme focused on sustainability. The ad-hoc programme offered environmental activities and educational workshops aimed at questioning sustainability and the responsibility of each student towards the environment. We would like to thank Porto Burci, l’Istituto Tecnico Tecnologico Economico “Galileo Galilei” di Arzignano, l’I.I.S. A. da Schio di Vicenza, Fenice Energy Green Park and Orto Botanico in Padua for their precious collaboration.  

At the end of April and in May FORTES will also welcome groups of German and Swedish teachers. This is "Job Shadowing": an individual mobility course abroad reserved for teachers, lecturers, trainers and professionals.  Thanks to the collaboration with the training organisations "GEB - Gesellschaft für Europabildung" in Berlin and "Academedia" in Stockholm, teachers from nursery schools, primary and secondary schools will have the opportunity to carry out observation activities of the teaching techniques of their subject/area at some schools in Vicenza, and at the same time they will have the chance to participate in visits to other organisations, which can complete their understanding of the education and training system in Italy.
