What's new in the Erasmus+ call for proposals 2024?
The new Erasmus+ program is out!
The new Erasmus+ program has an estimated budget of €26.2 billion, almost double the funding guaranteed to the previous program (2014-2020). Seventy percent of the budget will support mobility opportunities for all, in a perspective of lifelong learning.
New features of the 2024 Erasmus+ program will be:
increased mobility grant amounts to alleviate the effect of inflation on participants studying abroad;
increased incentives for sustainable travels;
"Blended Intensive" programmes for Higher Education that integrate online learning and teamwork with short-term physical mobility abroad;
doubled opportunities for vocational learners concerning short-term and long-term mobility;
increased collaboration opportunities for non-European countries;
increased short- and long-term mobility for students, both for individuals and entire classes;
the short duration and the simplicity of the requirements will make it easier for entities and schools to participate in cooperation projects and exchange of best practices for the first time;
promotion of the sports dimension through cooperative partnerships and nonprofit sports events in order to raise awareness of social inclusion, equal opportunities and health-enhancing physical activities.
